I think it is no secret I am an avid fan of Apple products, be it their computers, music players or the delicious phone that will be hitting our shores by year-end. I firmly believe that their products are generally a cut above others.

Thus, as a Mac user of over 3 years with several iPods and an imported iPhone, I am going to be biased towards Apple stuff. I believe this is very apparent to anyone who knows me, so I think it’s quite inane when people come up to me and ask me what music player they should get, or which laptop they should choose, and then say that they do not want an iPod or Mac. If you know that I am going to recommend an Apple, why bother asking me if you don’t want one?

It’s not like Apple’s paying me any money for recommending their stuff. I did work part-time at an Apple reseller once, but I’m no longer drawing commission now. I should though, since I have gotten quite a few friends to make what I think is the best choice and choose Apple. Be it an iPod or Mac, they don’t regret their purchase and are entirely happy with it. I’ve had friends tell me that long after they have bought their stuff. Most importantly, I use Apple stuff myself on a daily basis, and I am extremely pleased with the experience.

As such I have decided that I shall have no pity for people who stubbornly choose not to get a Mac or iPod over some inferior product. It’s their loss, and if they are happy with having something not as good, all the better for them. I guess this is also therefore why I have managed to sell so much during my stint at the Apple reseller. Get a Creative, see if I care.
